About the Role

The Product Forensics & Fix team provides forensics analysis and remediation solutions to effectively address, mitigate and control issues that impact commercial customers operating commercial lending products. This role forms part of a team responsible for ensuring our commercial lending products operate as designed, ensuring customers promises are met.

What will your day look like?

As a Forensics Associate, you will:
Work across the Australia Commercial value chain to develop and enhance the control environment for Commercial Lending Products

Elicit, analyze and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business needs while balancing stakeholder expectations, technical constraints and regulatory considerations, using predictive or agile methodologies as appropriate

Optimise existing product processes and systems to ensure our product propositions remain compliant and operate as designed

Design controls to reduce, minimise or identify product issues

Perform detailed reviews and analysis of control observations and incidents and liaise with other business areas to identify root cause of issues to ensure products and process remain compliant and operate as designed

Provide insights on product design weaknesses and other available metrics back to the business to highlight opportunities for improvement

Governance reporting on products to be produced for Business/Risk Forums as required

Controls testing and insights reporting to be produced for Business/Risk Forums as required

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

2+ years of Business Analysis skills, translating business requirements into solutions by understanding needs, feasibility and impact

Change management expertise to plan and execute change initiatives through strategic collaboration

Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks while implementing effective solutions to resolve issues

Strong critical thinking to analyze information and assess challenges or opportunities.

Effective problem-solving skills to identify issues, recognize patterns, and implement solutions

Strong communication skills

Good to have - knowledge, skills and experiences

Strong stakeholder management skills to build, maintain and influence partnerships

Experience in frontline or operational roles with exposure to the business lending domain

Proficiency in statistical analysis and modeling to solve complex data problems.
