FIREWALL & NETWORK ENGINEER - Only Male preferred

Job Role Responsibilities:

Network Design and Implementation:

Design and implement a scalable network infrastructure using Cisco switches.

Configure VLANs, trunking, and inter-VLAN routing for segmentation and efficient traffic flow.

Firewall Management:

Configure and maintain FortiGate firewalls for perimeter security.

Set up policies for access control, NAT, VPNs, and traffic inspection.

Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

Use tools to monitor network performance and ensure uptime.

Diagnose and resolve issues related to switches, firewalls, or connectivity.

Security Administration:

Implement security measures such as IPS/IDS, SSL/TLS encryption, and URL filtering on FortiGate.

Monitor logs and reports for anomalies and potential threats.

Scalability and Redundancy:

Configure redundancy protocols like HSRP/VRRP for high availability.

Plan for future growth and ensure network scalability.

User and Device Management:

Manage device and user access policies.

Configure port security and 802.1x for secure device authentication.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain documentation for network diagrams, device configurations, and policies.

Generate and review firewalls and switch logs to ensure compliance.

Collaboration with Teams:

Work with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.

Coordinate with security teams for incident response and audits.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in Cisco switch configuration (e.g., IOS commands, Layer 2/3 concepts).

Expertise in FortiGate firewall management (FortiOS).

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols.

Knowledge of security frameworks and practices.

Experience with VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL VPN).

Certification (preferred but not mandatory):

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Professional (CCNP).

Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE 4 or higher)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
