Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ethical Hacker/Cybersecurity Specialist to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, performing penetration testing, and securing networks, systems, and applications. You will play a critical role in safeguarding our digital assets and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on networks, applications, and systems.
- Identify security risks and provide recommendations for mitigation and remediation.
- Perform threat analysis, risk assessments, and forensic investigations to detect and prevent cyber threats.
- Monitor security incidents and respond to cybersecurity breaches and attacks.
- Implement intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
- Stay updated on cyber threats, hacking techniques, and security trends.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to prevent phishing and social engineering attacks.
- Work with cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) to ensure cloud environments are secured.
- Perform audits to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into SDLC (Secure Development Lifecycle).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, or penetration testing.
- Proficiency in penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Kali Linux, Nmap, Wireshark, etc.
- Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
- Experience with cloud security on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with forensic tools and techniques (FTK, EnCase, Autopsy, etc.).
- Understanding of OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK framework, and NIST cybersecurity guidelines.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), CISSP, CISM, or CHFI (Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK Stack, QRadar, etc.).
- Knowledge of container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of secure coding practices in web and mobile application development.
- Experience in incident response and digital forensics.
