EMC Test Engineer

Overview

Testing of Newly Designed or an Existing Product as per the Product Standard ,Safety standards, and as per Internal Requirement.

Communicate with External Labs for Quotation, Negotiation and Complete External Type testing of Product.

Co-ordinate with R&D Engineer to build test specification and cases of product.

Handle EMI EMC Testing as Per IEC 60688, IS 13875,IEC 62053-21,22,23 and Functional Testing ( firmware Testing ) of Product.

EMI-EMC Testing as per IEC 61326-1 and basic standard. IEC 61000-4-2, 61000-4-3, 61000-4-4,61000-4-5, 61000-4-6, 610000-4-8 and CISPR 11, 14, 16.

Knowledge of EMI/EMC Standards and Should have done Product Testing and Certification and ISO 17025, Lab accreditation Process , Quality Check, Intermediate Check, Replicate/ReTesting.

Ensure zero bug leakage to customer.

Ensuring maintenance and continual improvement in Quality Management Systems across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

B.E./ B. Tech With 3-4 yrs of Experience or Diploma with 6-7 yrs Experience

PREFERRED SKILLS :

 EMC Testing & lab establishment

 Safety testing as per IEC 61010

 Type testing and Standard Knowledge

 NABL and ISO 17025 Knowledge

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

 Should have at least above 3 years experience in testing/ validation, field trial and user

acceptance testing.

 Should have coordinated product approvals with external test agencies for CE, Type testing.

 Experience in handling RF test equipments/ Communication test sets and Protocol analyzers

 Should have experience in end to end software testing life cycle including preparation of testing

specifications, test design, test case generation, test execution, issue management and resolution.

 Should worked in or involve in process of NABL Accreditation as per ISO 17025
