Overview
- 5+ years of experience in manual & automation testing of embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, including hardware-software interactions.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
- Familiarity with defect management tools like JIRA.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and basic shell commands.
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for embedded systems
- Experience in automating with BDD framework using Python
- Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing for hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Conduct hands-on testing of embedded devices, including setting up hardware test environments.
- Analyse logs and hardware behavior to identify root causes of issues.
- Ensure test coverage by creating and maintaining test plans and test documentation.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress and report quality metrics.
