Job Role : Embedded Software Engineer - Electronics

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand and Finalize Project Requirements:

Collaborate with stakeholders to define and finalize project specifications.

• Design, Develop, and Test Embedded Code:

Create efficient and high-quality embedded code, ensuring proper testing and validation.

• Ensure Code Robustness:

Develop stable and reliable firmware, ensuring its long-term functionality.

• Maintain Security and Integrity:

Safeguard communication devices and ensure firmware is tamper-proof.

• Collaborate on Future Product Revisions:

Contribute to the design and development of future product revisions and improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background:

BE/BTech (Electronics and Telecommunication), MSc (Electronics), or M.Tech (Embedded Systems) with 3-12 years of firmware development experience.

• Technical Expertise:
• Strong experience with 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with peripheral protocols like UART, I2C, and SPI.
• Experience with IEC, DLMS, or MODBUS protocols (advantageous).
• Experience using version control systems (advantageous).
• Additional Experience:
• Experience with energy meters (preferred).
• Knowledge of interfacing with EEPROM, displays, sensors, etc.
• Strong understanding of underlying electronics for debugging and firmware development.
• Optimization and Benchmarking:

A knack for benchmarking and optimizing embedded systems for efficiency.

• Collaboration Skills:

Excellent ability to work with teams in problem-solving and overcoming hardware challenges.

Desirable Knowledge:

• Experience with PIC controllers.
• Familiarity with RTOS and MQTT protocols.
• In-depth understanding of embedded systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
