Embedded Software Engineer - Audio

Overview

We are looking for an an Audio Software Development Engineer to develop real-time embedded firmware and embedded Linux software for implementing advanced audio features.

Experience: 5 Years

· Develop and optimize audio software for embedded platforms.

· Design and implement ALSA drivers for audio hardware.

· Work with Audio DSP programming to enhance audio performance.

· Develop and maintain Linux drivers for audio devices.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate audio solutions into embedded systems.

· Perform debugging and troubleshooting on audio-related software and hardware issues.

· Optimize software performance for low-latency audio processing.

· Conduct thorough testing and validation of audio systems and software.

· Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in embedded audio technology and apply them to projects.

· Document technical specifications and processes related to audio software development.

· Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems.

· Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with ALSA (Advanced Linux Sound Architecture) driver development.

· Experience in Audio DSP programming and optimizing audio signals.

· Expertise in Linux driver development and debugging for embedded systems.

· Familiarity with audio hardware, protocols, and audio codecs.

· Good understanding of real-time audio processing and low-latency requirements.

· Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, especially in embedded and audio-related issues.

· Familiarity with audio software tools and development kits.

· Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment.
