Embedded Software Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience designing and developing software for embedded systems using C, C#, Java and Python . The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for creating efficient, reliable embedded software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software for embedded systems
- Write clean, efficient code in Java and Python for embedded applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate software with embedded platforms
- Debug and optimize embedded software performance
- Develop and implement firmware update mechanisms
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
- Support continuous integration and testing frameworks for embedded software
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in embedded software development
- Proficiency in Java and Python programming for embedded systems
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures
- Familiarity with embedded communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN)
- Experience with embedded debugging tools and techniques
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with low-power embedded systems design
- Knowledge of IoT protocols and technologies
- Experience with embedded Linux platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for embedded software
- Understanding of hardware/software co-design principles
- Experience with test-driven development for embedded systems
