Position Purpose

The candidate to build applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support. This position requires a combination of programming skills (namely C#, ASP.net MVC, MSSQL server, query, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS). Should have a strong understanding of industry trends and experienced with the responsive and adaptive design. Able write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. Should understand the entire development process including setup, design, development, and deployment.

Primary Responsibility

1. Participate in requirements analysis

2. Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture

3. Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages

4. Test and deploy applications and systems

5. Revise, update, refactor and debug code

6. Improve existing software

7. Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)

8. Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support

Competency / Skills

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

2. Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer

3. Familiarity with .NET CORE, ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))

4. Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3

5. Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)

6. Understanding of Agile methodologies

7. Extensive knowledge in Jquery, Ajax, Javascript, CSS, AngularJS

8. Extensive knowledge of databases like MS SQL and MySQL.

9. Self-starter, quick learner and passionate about the .NET framework and software design/architecture

10. Be professional, empathetic, have a can-do solution-oriented approach
