Job Overview:

As a .NET Developer at Zouma, you will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining software solutions that support our production and manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and enhance applications that streamline operations, automate processes, and ensure seamless integration with our production systems. Your expertise in both software development and manufacturing operations will contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems and drive innovation within our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications, ensuring alignment with the needs of the production and manufacturing teams.
• Integration with Manufacturing Systems: Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate applications with ERP systems, manufacturing execution systems (MES), and other production-related tools.
• Automation & Optimization: Develop solutions that automate production workflows, improve inventory management, and optimize production scheduling.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support for existing applications, identify issues, and implement improvements to enhance system performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including production managers, engineers, and IT teams, to understand and address operational challenges.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry best practices, new technologies, and methodologies to improve the scalability, performance, and quality of software solutions.
• Documentation: Write and maintain detailed technical documentation for applications, code, and systems to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Participate in unit and integration testing to ensure software quality and alignment with business requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in .NET development, specifically in web applications, APIs, and enterprise-level software systems.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
• Production/Manufacturing Knowledge: Strong understanding of production and manufacturing processes, with experience in developing or supporting manufacturing-related software systems.
• ERP/MES Systems: Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MES systems is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, capable of identifying and resolving complex software, data, and system issues.
• Agile Methodology: Experience with Agile or Scrum practices, including tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Version Control: Familiarity with Git, SVN, or other version control systems.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry Certifications: Relevant certifications in .NET development, production management, or manufacturing systems.
• Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, as well as microservices architecture.
• Process Optimization: Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is an advantage.
