Job location: Kochi (work from office)

Job description

• Implementing tools to automate the development, build, testing, integration, and deployment pipelines.
• Implementing automated provisioning of cloud infrastructure while maintaining very high levels of system uptime
• Implementing infrastructure patterns and handling deployment at scale to identify and mitigate performance bottlenecks and scaling pitfalls
• Implementing containerized deployment and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Using configuration management tools (e.g.Chef, Puppet, Ansible) to deploy, configureand manage servers in a high-scale production environment
• Monitoring and analyzing server logs to identify any potential issues using tools like New Relic
• Building, managing, and automating Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Implementing security best practices to harden against all levels of security across applications, APIs, databases, etc.
• Basic DB administration and performance optimization of databases

Qualifications

• Experience in managing cloud vendors like AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.
• Experience in deploying microservices-based applications using Kubernetes or Docker is a plus
• Experience in test automation and CI/CD using Jenkins, CircleCI, Travis
• Understanding of version control systems like SVN and Git
• Experience with Chef, Puppet, Ansible is a plus
• Strong experience in networking, load balancing, and security best practices
• Experience in managing databases in MySQL or Postgres is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team.
