Your Role:
- Design, build and maintain infrastructure in cloud platforms like (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) using infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Pulumi and/or CLI.
- Troubleshoot issues across staging and production environments using root cause analysis techniques to resolve errors permanently.
- Implement & manage continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripts.
- Guide team members on infrastructure best practices according to context.
Our Checklist:
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Experience in Linux Operating Systems like Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, OpenSUSE. Thorough knowledge of their working / CLI is expected.
- Good conceptual understanding of networking protocols such as HTTPS, DNS, SSH, SSL/TLS, SMTP for running a web-based infrastructure.
- Operating services in a cloud platform like AWS. Equivalent experience with Google Cloud / Microsoft Azure / Oracle Cloud is also perfectly valid.
- Knowledge of one programming language used to build backend applications like Ruby, Golang, Java, C/C++, Python.
- Version control software like Git, SVN, Mercurial and its hosting platforms like Github, Gitlab or Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with containers & orchestration technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
