Overview
Job Description We are actively seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Delivery Center in India and support delivery of our software and managed services portfolio. The successful applicant will join our rapidly expanding DevOps operations to build our DevOps team in India, and work closely with our Solution Architects to induct and support new SaaS products and tastily complex dev environments.
Responsibilities Candidates will be expected to demonstrate experience with;
Working within an infrastructure support environment coordinating work between local and remotely based teams
Supporting technically diverse development and production infrastructure running custom software, hosted in public clouds, including configuring/maintaining backups, monitoring, security and patching working with the Solutions and Delivery Management teams to identify and resolve issues with the design, development, and deployment of software solutions
Provision, install, configure and maintain a wide range of services, applications, databases and tools across multiple platforms, environments, customers and cloudy infrastructure providers
Remedy issues in our 3rd line ticket queue, including effective prioritisation, assignment to development teams, and escalating resolution where required to ensure we meet our SLAs
Providing last-stop problem resolution for mixed Linux and Windows environments create clear and effective documentation
Troubleshoot problems when they occur, quickly and efficiently
