Optimo Capital is a newly established NBFC founded by Prashant Pitti, who is also a co-founder of EaseMyTrip (a billion-dollar listed startup that grew profitably without any funding).

Our mission is to serve the underserved MSME businesses in India with their credit needs. With less than 15% of MSMEs having access to formal credit, we aim to bridge this credit gap by employing a phygital model (physical branches + digital decision-making).

What We Look For

We are looking for individuals with strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub Actions), and infrastructure automation. Key Responsibilities

• Database Management: Ensure optimal performance, security, and high availability of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). Handle backups, replication, and scaling.
• Scalability & Reliability: Design and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure to support growing workloads and transaction volumes.
• CI/CD & Version Control: Manage GitLab/GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines to enable smooth and automated deployments.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy, monitor, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Configure, manage, and optimize AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, and VPC for cost-efficiency and performance.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, manage access controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Monitoring & Logging: Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.) to ensure system health and quick issue resolution.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, security, and product teams to enhance automation, streamline operations, and improve system resilience.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps/SRE role, preferably in a fintech or high-traffic application environment.
• Strong experience with GitLab/GitHub CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience managing databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB (performance tuning, replication, backups).
• Expertise in AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation/Terraform).
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or Go for automation.
• Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and infrastructure monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Availability for full-time work in Bangalore. Advantage for immediate joiners.
• Strong passion for technology and problem-solving.
• Experience in fintech, banking, or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
• Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.
