We are currently seeking a Devops Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Summary

Role Summary

The role of an AWS DevOps Engineer involves creating and provisioning Cloud Infrastructure, enabling services, and enable CI CD using AWS resources required for the application development team.

Developing CI/CD pipelines, instrumenting code to report relevant metrics, and building safe and efficient build processes.

• Well versed with Kubernetes
• Well versed with Git Actions
• Knowledge and hands-on exp with Jenkins
• Well versed with provision of AWS cloud infrastructure
• Well versed with setting up automated pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
• Well versed with AWS administration to request, create and provision services required for the application development and deployment
• Deliver consistently with the desired productivity and quality
• Collaborates actively with the Technical Lead and other feature team members
• Focus on continuous improvement to improve Quality and velocity
• Work with the leads to proactively share information and identify technical debts for earlier resolution
• Possess good communication skills and precisely describes problems and solutions
• Provide quality deliverables with minimal code review comments and defects
  
  

Area of Responsibility

• Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage an AWS Development, testing and production system
• Making sure AWS systems are reliable, secure, and scalable
• Resolving problems across multiple application domains and platforms using system troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques
• Automating different operational processes by designing, maintaining, and managing tools
• Lead the organizations platform stability and security efforts by collaborating with the core engineering team
• Develop policies, standards, and guidelines for IAC and CI/CD that teams can follow
  
  

Knowledge / Experience

• 6 to 9 years of overall experience with minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in deployment , automation, maintenance of AWS Development, testing and production systems.
• Experience with Git and Github as a Source control integration system from AWS
• Experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Administration and configuration of AWS platform for Infrastructure and application management
• Expertise with CI and CD using Terraform
• Expertise with Dockers and Kubernetes
• Expertise with Test automation pipeline provisioning
• Knowledge with AWM Services – ECS, ECR, RDS, VPC, Subnets
• Experience working with Agile Ecosystem – Principles, timeboxing, roles and ceremonies
