Job Overview
As a DevOps Engineer at LG Soft India, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations. Your primary responsibility will be to automate processes, improve system reliability, and ensure seamless software delivery using modern DevOps practices. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, monitor system performance, and optimize infrastructure for scalability.
Key Responsibilities
CI/CD Pipeline Development:
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure faster and error-free software releases.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into the pipeline
Infrastructure Management:
Manage cloud infrastructure using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible
Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-based services
Monitoring & Logging:
Set up monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
Monitor system performance and alert teams in case of anomalies or failures.
Security & Compliance:
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Work with security teams to integrate security checks into the CI/CD pipeline
Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and QA teams, to streamline workflows
Act as a liaison between different teams to ensure smooth software delivery.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify bottlenecks in the development and deployment process and propose solutions to improve efficiency
Stay updated with the latest DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices.
