DevOps Engineer

Overview

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to establish and streamline our infrastructure, automation, and deployment processes from the ground up. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a highly scalable, secure, and efficient DevOps pipeline to support our growing projects. Additionally, this role will focus on transitioning existing projects to Docker containerization to enhance deployment efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage containerized application deployments
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters for orchestrating containerized applications
• Design portable container solutions that work across multiple cloud environments
• Implement container security best practices and vulnerability scanning
• Optimize container configurations and resource allocations for performance and cost efficiency
• Create disaster recovery strategies and high-availability patterns for containerized workloads
• Guide the transition from monolithic applications to microservices architecture
• Establish standardized development environments to improve developer productivity
• Provide technical documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platforms.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Go) for automation.
• Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and system monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (Docker Certified Associate, CKA, CKAD, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications)
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools
• Experience with GitOps workflows
• Familiarity with database containerization and persistence
• Prior experience in cloud cost optimization and infrastructure scaling
• Prior experience in a DevOps or SRE role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
