DevOps Engineer
Experience: 3 to 5 years
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and other
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools. - Manage and optimize Elastic Container Service (ECS), EC2, Docker, RDS, S3,
Aurora MySQL, and CloudWatch to ensure efficient cloud operations. - Configure and manage AWS networking components, including VPC, Security Groups,
ALB, Transit Gateway, Route 53, CloudFront, and Control Tower. - Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CE to automate deployment
workflows. - Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure performance using AWS-native tools and
third-party solutions. - Work with logging and event streaming services like Kinesis, Elasticsearch, Airflow,
and PGSync to enhance observability and analytics. - Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies for critical applications.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to enforce best practices for cloud
security, compliance, and governance. - Maintain the documentation of infrastructure, automation scripts, and operational
procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site
Reliability Engineering (SRE). - Strong expertise in AWS services, including computing, storage, networking, and
security. - Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
- Hands-on experience managing containerized workloads with Docker and AWS ECS.
- Proficiency in GitLab CE for version control and CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Strong understanding of AWS networking (VPC, Security Groups, ALB, Route 53, etc.).
- Experience with RDS and Aurora MySQL for database management.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Elasticsearch, and
Kinesis. - Familiarity with Airflow for workflow automation.
- Basic understanding of PGSync and real-time data synchronization.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced
environment. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Liferay and Liferay clustering.
- Exposure to AWS Control Tower for multi-account governance.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration.
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001,
SOC 2, GDPR).
