DevOps Engineer

Overview

Job Summary:

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with at least 1 year of experience who has a strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and DevOps best practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating deployments, managing cloud infrastructure, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to enhance system reliability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Cloud Infrastructure Management:

Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud-based infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Implement GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Kubernetes (GKE), IAM, and Networking.

2) CI/CD Implementation & Automation:

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build.

Automate deployments and releases to ensure a seamless and error-free delivery process.

3) Containerization & Orchestration:

Work with Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes (GKE) to manage microservices and application workloads.

Troubleshoot and optimize Kubernetes deployments.

4) Monitoring & Logging:

Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using GCP Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

Proactively monitor system performance and implement necessary optimizations.

5) Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

Use Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Deployment Manager to manage cloud infrastructure in a repeatable and scalable manner.
