Overview
Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with at least 4 years of experience in the Information Technology department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff members to manage code releases.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing automation tools and frameworks for continuous integration and deployment
- Collaborating with development teams to set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Monitoring and maintaining the infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in the development, testing, and production environments
- Implementing security best practices to protect the infrastructure and data
- Providing technical support and guidance to team members
- Keeping up to date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Shell
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Certification in DevOps tools and methodologies is a plus
