So, what’s the role all about?

DevOps Engineer supports and enhance our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, CloudFormation, EKS, Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and other related technologies. You will play a critical role in automating, scaling, and securing our applications and infrastructure.

How will you make an impact?

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize CloudFormation for provisioning and managing infrastructure resources.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Spacelift, and other tools.
• Version Control: Use Git for version control and collaboration on code.
• Scripting & Automation: Develop automation scripts in Python, Groovy, and Shell to streamline operations and eliminate manual tasks.
• Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of code changes.
• Security: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards and policies.

Have you got what it takes?

• Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in DevOps or a related field.
• Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, ECS, VPC, Route53, CloudFront etc).
• IaC Tools: Strong experience with CloudFormation
• Experience with AWS CDK
• Containerization: Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• CI/CD: Hands-on experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions & Workflows and Spacelift
• Scripting Languages: Expertise in Python, Groovy, Shell, YAML scripting.
• Automation: Experience with automating deployment, scaling, and management of applications.
• Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
