DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role involves automating, deploying, and managing scalable and high-availability infrastructure. You will be responsible for learning and contributing to the continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, cloud infrastructure management, and ensuring smooth operations across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, deployment, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with senior DevOps engineers to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Assist with server, database, and cloud resource management (AWS, GCP, Digital Ocean).
• Collaborate with software development and QA teams to ensure smooth delivery of applications.
• Learn and utilize DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
• Implement and maintain effective logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.
• Support in managing version control systems, primarily Git, and automation of routine tasks.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems, shell scripting, and system administration.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS(preferred),Digital Ocean, Google Cloud
• Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git, Bitbucket.
• CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Enthusiasm for learning and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: From ?250,000.00 per year
