DevOps Engineer

Overview

Role and Responsibilities:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our travel software solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Deployment and Configuration: Perform manual deployments and configurations of applications to various environments.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Contribute to the management and optimization of Azure cloud server instances, including virtual machines, storage, and networking.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor application and infrastructure performance, identify potential issues, and assist in troubleshooting.
• Version Control: Work with Git version control, understanding basic branching strategies and merging techniques.
• Security and Compliance: Adhere to security best practices and compliance standards.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements and translate them into effective deployment strategies.
• CI/CD Pipeline Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and improving our CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or similar.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
• Experience with manual deployment processes.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Commitment Period:

• 2 Years.

Pay: ?350,000.00 - ?800,000.00 per year
