Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and manage highly scalable and resilient infrastructure on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Lead the implementation and management of container orchestration platforms, specifically Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, tests, and deployments.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e., Terraform, CloudFormation) to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using programming languages such as NodeJS or GoLang to streamline operational tasks.
- Deploy, configure, and manage various database systems including MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and MySQL.
- Ensure the security, availability, and performance of our Linux-based production environments.
- Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Newrelic, Datadog, Jaeger, and Sentry.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software.
- Identify and implement best practices for DevOps processes, automation, and infrastructure management.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support critical systems.
- Mentor and guide junior DevOps team members.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in handling large-scale systems in a production environment.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes OR Docker Swarm for container orchestration and management.
- Hands-on experience in one or more programming languages, preferably NodeJS or GoLang, for automation and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Good experience working with databases such as MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and MySQL, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of Linux operating systems, including system administration and command-line tools.
- Proven experience using and configuring monitoring tools like Prometheus, Newrelic, Datadog, Jaeger, and Sentry for system health and performance monitoring.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
- Strong understanding of networking principles and cloud networking services.
- Experience with security best practices in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
