Job Description: Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to develop high-quality, optimized code and applications with minimal guidance. You will be responsible for coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software, while collaborating effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize code based on user stories and requirements, ensuring quality and security.
• Conduct unit testing and document development stages.
• Independently implement algorithms and solutions following industry standards.
• Interact with customers to understand and address their needs.
• Mentor junior developers and provide feedback to help them improve.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Assist in defect management by raising, fixing, and retesting issues.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, coding standards, and release management processes.
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and status reporting.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, and GCP.
• Experience with Flask, API development, and data ingestion pipelines.
• Ability to write clear and maintainable code, with attention to testing and documentation.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
• Good communication skills and team collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of software development, databases, and technical design.
• Familiarity with unit testing and debugging tools.
• Experience in working with cloud platforms like AWS and GCP is preferred.
