Techwave is seeking a skilled Database Engineer with expertise in SQL Server, SAP HANA, and IBM DB2 to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database solutions that support critical business applications. This role requires hands-on experience in database administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and troubleshooting across multiple database platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and optimize SQL Server, SAP HANA, and IBM DB2 databases to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Design and implement database architectures that meet business and application requirements.
• Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, patching, and security hardening of database environments.
• Monitor database performance and conduct tuning to improve query execution and overall system efficiency.
• Develop and implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support database-related needs.
• Troubleshoot database issues, ensuring minimal downtime and fast resolution of incidents.
• Implement and maintain database security policies, access controls, and encryption strategies.
• Automate routine database tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting.
• Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
