Job Description:

Leverages analytical skills and engineering expertise to develop data-driven solutions, including ETL processes and Azure automation. Tasks also involve creating reports and dashboards/visualizations. Focuses on improving efficiencies and scalability, alongside enhancing the customer experience. Provides consultation, training and support for solution utilization.

• Assist in basic maintenance of mature datasets and stable tools, supporting routine tasks from the engineering team, while proactively analysing and developing actionable plans for high-quality data solutions.
• Provide solution design options, recommendations, and aid in final selection, including assistance with delivery and construction, ensuring integration of engineering principles .
• Collaborate with internal and external resources, incorporating engineering best practices to optimize outcomes and maintain stability in datasets and tools.
• Enable frequently used datasets to peers for consumption in reports and dashboarding . This includes making minor adjustments based on the project.
• Deploy innovative solutions and automation, leveraging specific analytic methods and tools, while contributing to the maintenance of existing datasets and tools.
• Identify and address deviations, risks, or resource needs hindering project progression, ensuring timely completion and collaborating with the engineering team where necessary.
• Uphold high standards for assigned deliverables in line with team operating model and defined standards, with a focus on engineering best practices.
• Demonstrate proficient business acumen to design and deploy fit-for-purpose solutions, balancing analytical and engineering requirements.
• Develop and deliver user training, quick reference guides, and video tutorials for tools and solutions, with an understanding of both analytical and engineering perspectives.
• Maintain relevant solution documentation and provide user support as needed, while also assisting in the maintenance of datasets and tools.
• Function within project environments, managing timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations effectively, with a focus on engineering integrity.
• Deliver regular updates for management and key stakeholders through reports and communication channels, ensuring transparency regarding changes in scope, timelines, or budget, and engineering-related updates as necessary.

• At least 2 years relevant work-experience managing data/creating and implementing solutions with emphasis on Financial data/resutls
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in business statistics, computer science, Financial analytics and/or data science preferred
• Proficient use of Power Platform and Office365
• Excellent knowledge of SAP / SAP BI or other financial data platforms
• Experience producing and maintaining solutions within Azure. Knowledge of specific components like Azure Data Lake, Databricks, SendGrid and Pipeline deployment is preferred. At a minimum have a solid level of understanding of Cloud Computing resources that allows to raise proper requests to Engineering role.
• Ability and drive to quickly adapt and learn new platforms
• Advanced Excel Skills required. Proficiency in MS Access a plus
• Proven record in establishing relationships and stakeholder networks
• A team player who can work independently
