Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our consumer journey through cutting-edge Machine Learning (ML) solutions for pricing and recommendations. This role provides data-driven insights and rigorous experimentation, enabling end-to-end support for machine learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel in statistical analysis, experiment design, and data science workflows while supporting ML Scientists in building robust models and analyzing their performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years in data science role supporting ML projects and experimentation.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods, experiment design, and causal inference techniques.
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation & machine learning (Pandas, NumPy, sci-kit-learn).
- Intermediate skills in SQL for data querying, including Window Functions, Joins, and Group By
- Familiarity with classical ML techniques like Classification, Regression, and Clustering, using algorithms like XGBoost, Random Forest, and KMeans.
- Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, or Seaborn).
- Proficiency in designing and analyzing A/B and multivariate experiments, focusing on drawing actionable insights.
- Experience working with large, complex datasets, including preprocessing, feature engineering, and encoding techniques.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and implement state-of-the-art ML models for dynamic pricing strategies and personalized product recommendations.
- Develop, implement, and deploy machine learning models that leverage our unique combination of user behavior and subscription data to improve consumer value from our products.
- Engineer and maintain large-scale consumer behavioral feature stores while ensuring scalability and performance.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support efficient and scalable ML model development and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Sales) to ensure your solutions align with strategic objectives and deliver real-world impact.
- Create algorithms for optimizing consumer journeys and increasing conversion and monetization.
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
