Job Title: Data Scientist
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
Rate: Open to discussion

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's with 7+ years, Master's with 5+ years, or Ph.D. with 3+ years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• Proven ability to analyze complex problems and translate them into effective data science solutions.

Technical Expertise:

• Machine Learning & AI: Supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, classification, data/text mining, deep learning (CNNs, RNNs), and neural networks.
• Statistical Modeling: Predictive & prescriptive analytics, regression, time series, topic modeling, parametric & non-parametric models.
• Generative AI: Embedding generation, vector databases, RAG pipelines, LLM provisioning (including prompt engineering, tuning, and governance).
• Big Data Analytics: Trend and outlier detection in large datasets.
• Cloud & Tools: Python, PySpark, GCP (Vertex AI, Kubeflow), Hadoop (Hive, MapReduce, HQL, Scala), Spark.
• Deployment & Monitoring: Experience deploying models at scale with continuous feedback loops.

Leadership:

• Experience mentoring junior analysts and leading data science projects end-to-end.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Retail domain experience.
• Publications in academic journals or presentations in data science forums.
• Patents related to data science or AI.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and GPU/CUDA optimization.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
