What is the Eligibility Criteria to become a Data Scientist?
The most basic eligibility criteria for entering in the field of data science is to pass your 10+2 with minimum 55% in science stream with subjects like Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics or Information Technology as compulsory subjects. After clearing the HSC examination, one can take admission in any suitable bachelor’s degree course.
There isn’t any particular entrance exam for Data Science but most colleges offer admission on the basis of marks obtained in the JEE Mains and Advance.
Few universities and colleges offer admission on merit basis only. To secure admission in a MTech course one has to clear the GATE examination.
