Overview
Responsibilities
- Keeping up to date with the research literature and thinking beyond the state of the art to address the needs of our users.
- Directly contribute to experiments, including designing experimental details, writing reusable code, running evaluations, and organizing results.
- Help identify long-term ambitious research goals as well as intermediate milestones.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow researchers and team members.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Have solid expertise in Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), and Reinforcement Learning (RL), with hands-on experience in both software engineering and scientific research.
- Have worked with large-scale LLMs in the 10s to 100s of billions of parameters.
- Have produced novel research related to fine-tuning LLMs or improving upon pre-trained LLMs.
- Have specialized expertise in topics like installation, RLHF, DPO, LLM tool use, etc.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and ML libraries, etc.
- Experience with large-scale datasets and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Have strong communication skills and a desire to work on a small, fast-paced team.
