Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of sophisticated customer science models including churn prediction, customer segmentation frameworks, and lifetime value (LTV) models
- Translate complex business problems into analytical solutions that address marketing use cases
- Oversee data pipeline development and optimization across cloud platforms
- Mentor and develop a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and measure the impact of data-driven strategies
- Establish best practices for model development, validation, and deployment
- Minimum 6 years of experience building customer science models, particularly in churn modeling, segmentation frameworks, and LTV modeling
- Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and model development
- Demonstrated experience working with cloud platforms including GCP and AWS
- Expert-level knowledge of big data technologies including BigQuery and AWS Redshift
- Experience applying data science to marketing use cases and problems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related)
- Experience with AWS EMR Studio
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a quantitative discipline
- Experience leading data science teams
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools
- Understanding of the Indian market dynamics and customer behavior
