We are looking for a Data Scientist specializing in Deep Learning and NLP to join our team and help drive AI-driven innovation in our platform.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize deep learning models for NLP-based applications such as chatbots, product recommendations, search optimization, Google Lens and customer analysis.
- Implement AI-driven personalization and recommendation engines for an enhanced e-commerce shopping experience.
- Work with large datasets from structured and unstructured sources, including product descriptions, customer reviews, and transaction data.
- Design and develop AI-powered search features using NLP for accurate and efficient product discovery.
- Collaborate with data engineers, backend developers, and product teams to integrate AI models into the e-commerce platform.
- Fine-tune pre-trained models (e.g., BERT, GPT, Transformer models) for e-commerce-specific use cases.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to improve model performance.
- Optimize AI models for scalability, accuracy, and real-time inference.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, deep learning, and NLP, and implement best practices in production.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in deep learning, NLP, and AI-driven applications.
- Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Experience with NLP techniques like Named Entity Recognition (NER), Text Classification, and Topic Modeling.
- Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and NLTK/spaCy.
- Experience in deploying ML/DL models in a production environment using APIs, cloud services, or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with databases My SQ Land data pipelines.
- Experience in vector search, embeddings, and LLM-based models for e-commerce applications is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AI-based fraud detection, dynamic pricing models, or demand forecasting.
- Knowledge of search engines and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) models.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like Digital Ocean, or Google Cloud for AI/ML deployments.
- Experience with A/B testing and model evaluation for e-commerce applications.
