Overview
Role
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the business requirements for data migration within the ERP system. Identify the specific data objects, entities, and attributes that need to be migrated, considering functional dependencies and integration points with other modules or systems
Data Analysis and Mapping: Analyze the structure, format, and quality of data in the legacy systems and develop data mapping documents to map data fields from source to target within the ERP system. Ensure that data is transformed and migrated accurately while preserving its integrity and meaning.
Configuration and Customization: Configure the ERP system to accommodate the migrated data based on the functional requirements of the business. This may involve setting up data fields, defining data validation rules, and customizing workflows or business processes to align with the migrated data.
Data Cleansing and Transformation: Collaborate with stakeholders teams to clean, transform, and validate data as needed to ensure its quality, consistency, and compatibility with the ERP system. Implement data deduplication, normalization, standardization, and enrichment processes to improve data quality.
Testing and Validation: Develop test plans and execute testing procedures to validate the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of migrated data within the ERP system. Work closely with testing teams to identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring that the migrated data meets the specified acceptance criteria.
User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on data migration processes, data entry best practices, and the use of the ERP system. Address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance on data-related matters to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
Documentation and Knowledge Transfer: Document the data migration process, including data mapping documents, transformation rules, test cases, and user guides. Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with stakeholders to ensure they understand the data migration procedures and can support ongoing data management activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Technical Skills
Experience: 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Financials, with expertise in Fusion Financials.
Financial Modules: Strong experience in GL, AP, AR.
Data Migration Expertise: Experience in data extraction, transformation, and FBDI, ADFDI, SQL Loader, and API-based migration strategies.
Technical Development: Expertise in PL/SQL
Integrations: Hands-on experience integrating Oracle ERP with third-party applications and external financial systems.
Customization & Reports: Ability to develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics in Oracle ERP using BI tools.
Soft Skills & Certifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex financial and technical challenges.
Excellent communication skills to interact with business users, finance teams, and IT stakeholders.
Ability to work independently.
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 11 months
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,250,000.00 per year
