
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Data Governance Engineer who should take the lead in Data Quality program with perspective of Business Platform tool development, Data Governance, Data management and Data quality. Collaborates well with stakeholders to ensure that data quality is maintained and enhanced across disparate data sources, leading to data-oriented development through application of machine learning and AI based methods. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database and data analysis procedures. Ability to learn and transform data in general in existing systems. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and interworking with all involved tools to make vision a reality.
Primary responsibilities and needed competencies:
- Skilled in defining and implementing data quality rules and thresholds, with experience in building automated quality checks using Python, SQL, and PowerBI.
- Adept at profiling, logging and tracking data issues for detailed root cause analysis.
- Ability to define and implement data quality rules and thresholds.

Mandatory Skill set
Expertise in Database concepts, DBA, well versed in SQL, MySQL, DBMS, Database Tools
Knowledge and expertise in handling various data set, data types and sources from heterogeneous applications
Strong analytical and problem solving skill
Organization skills and ability to work under pressure
Flexibility, highest standard deliverables and ‘getting things done’ mindset
