Data Engineer with expertise in Java

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Java to join our dynamic team at eSales! The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure efficient data processing and integration across our platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing efficient data pipelines using Java and frameworks like Apache Kafka or Hadoop.
• Optimize database performance, query tuning, and data modeling for structured and unstructured data.
• Integrate data from various sources, including APIs, databases, and external datasets.
• Developing scalable, production-ready ML applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Java EE.
• Designing APIs and microservices for AI/ML applications.
• Ensuring smooth integration of ML models with existing Java-based systems.
• Collaborate with software engineers to build and optimize data-driven applications.
• Implement CI/CD pipelinesfor automated data processing and deployment.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows to ensure high availability and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information Technology or a related field
• Strong programming skills in Java(including frameworks like Spring Boot).
• Experience with AI/ML Frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Strong skills in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization.

Good to Have:

• Hands-on experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience with big data technologies (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Flink, etc.).
• Understanding of containerization(Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools(Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
