Job Expectation:

A data engineer is part of the team in charge of organizing data E2E architecture within the VCR Cyber Risk Watchtower product . They will utilize their technical expertise to ensure data is accurate and high-quality end-to-End. Data is then analyzed, designed, and presented in a way that assists individuals, departments, and organizations make better decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing, Implementing and maintaining data pipelines (develop, construct, test and maintain scalable data pipelines for collecting, transforming and storing data from various sources

Designing, implementing and maintaining data exposure layer such as dashboards or API

Designing, implementing and maintaining data processing to enrich data

Designing, implementing and maintaining various types of modelisation such as Ontology, RDBMS, BI

Monitoring and troubleshooting product components such as database, ETL, security

Ensure data security and compliance

Essential General:

Conducting data ingestion, computation and consumption operation for both build and run

Willingness to learn new data approaches such as Knowledge Graph, Data Mesh etc.

Client facing, able to confidently and professionally represent the company

Must be self-motivated and able to work in an independent manner as well as part of a team

Excellent Written And Oral Communications Skills

Positive, collaborative and enthusiastic

Qualification & Experience

Detail oriented, organized, methodical, follow-up skills with an analytical thought process.

Willingness to learn new data approach such as Knowledge Graph, Data Mesh

Knowledge of DevOps

Knowledge of graph database

Experience writing scripts in PowerShell, Ruby, Java , Python , BASH is a must

Experience with SQL. Nice to have : SPARQL, SHACL

Experience in business intelligence tools such as : Qliksense, Tableau.

Masters/Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field is required.

Minimum 3-4 years experience in data engineering from data ingestion to data consumption : ETL, data processing, data cleaning, data modeling, data visualization, API exposure.
