- Database Management & Data Warehousing
- Strong proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, performance tuning)
- Experience with relational (MySQL, SQL Server) and cloud data warehouses (Redshift, Big Query)
- Experience with data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema)
- Experience in data migrations/ data orchestration pipelines.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like DBT, Apache Airflow, etc.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (Redshift, Big Query, Snowflake, Databricks)
- Reporting & Business Intelligence Skills
- Experience optimizing queries for BI tools to improve report performance.
- Knowledge of Reporting and visualization using tools like count.io, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Ability to collaborate with analysts & business teams to build efficient data models.
- Programming & Scripting
- Knowledge in Python (Pandas, PySpark) or Scala for data processing
- Knowledge of shell scripting for automation
- DevOps & CI/CD for Data Engineering
- Experience with version control (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
