Core Responsibilities
You work as a DWH Engineer on our DWH system
- You will migrate our current DWH system to the google cloud
- You will provide operational support of our DWH system in a 24/7 shift model ( on call support - including weekends and holidays) including CET timings daily.
• Experience in designing and developing Oracle objects such as Tables, Views, Indexes, Partitions, Stored Procedures, Triggers Functions in PL/SQL, Packages • You are developing, testing and maintaining DWH processes
• You participate in the planning and estimation, contributing to overall delivery • You actively document, record and share knowledge
• Working experience on collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence • Should be able to troubleshoot issues around the application environment and come up with solutions.
- You are working in an international agile team
- You will be responsible for overall BI/DWH Production operations.
- Mentor Trainee Associate (Level 1) and Associate (Level 2/3)- Production Support to become more effective in their roles establish Ownership and Devops culture.
# DWH/SQL/PLSQL/Linux/Shell
- Must have very strong knowledge on DWH concepts.
- Must have very strong hands on experience in advanced SQL
- Must have very stong hands on experience in working with PL/SQL procedures
- Must have very strong hands on experience in writing and adjust complex sql,shell scripts
ODI (ETL or any Equivalent) • Must have strong experience in ODI Administration and Load Balancing. Should be able to configure Standalone and Java EE agents.
- Must have strong hands on experience in optimizing ETL processes using ODI's graphical interface.
- Must have strong experience in managing the ETL process, ETL control tables, error logging, auditing, data quality, etc Should be able to enrich/enhance
- reusability, parameterization, workflow design
- Must have strong experience in Fine tunning and enrich/enhance complex mappings, Process Flows and ETL scripts
- Must be well versed and have hands on experience in using and customizing Knowledge Modules KM
- Setting up topology, building objects in Designer, Monitoring Operator, different type of KMs, Agents
- Must have strong hands on experience in using ODI mappings, error handling, automation using ODI, Load plans, Migration of Objects
Your Profile:
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of DWH concepts
- Strong experience in writing SQL/PLSQL queries
- Good knowledge in tools such as Jenkins, Git and Jira
• Strong knowledge of ODI • Knowledge on Big Data platform and tools Hadoop , Hive, Impala , scoop ,Spark is a plus
• Experience with the Google Cloud Platform (Composer, Dataflow, BigQuery) is a plus • Experience in working in an agile team is a plus
- Candidate must be capable of managing production issues independently and take ownership to resolve incidents end-to-end
- Should be able to interact across different teams for getting the task done.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices like Incident, Change, and Service and Problem management.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge exchange through Reverse KT
- You are a team player, good in communication and love to work in an international team
