Job Description:
Arch Systems Inc is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure seamless data integration, processing, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Develop, optimize, and manage data storage solutions using relational and NoSQL databases.
- Implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes from various sources.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency through monitoring and validation techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and best practices.
- Optimize query performance and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
- Implement data security, governance, and compliance standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or Scala for data processing.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Apache Airflow, Talend, or Informatica.
- Strong knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their data services (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.).
- Expertise in working with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with real-time data streaming technologies like Kafka or Kinesis.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for data applications.
- Understanding of machine learning model deployment in production environments.
