An ideal candidate is expected to have a flair for fast learning and coding. This position offers a steep learning curve, with significant exposure of working directly with global clients. You are expected to be one of the best in the industry in applied big-data.

Expected skills:

• High degree of proficiency in Python and pandas
• High degree of proficiency in SQL (DDL/DML)
• Ability to understand data models in a SQL database

Desirable skills that will be advantageous to the candidate:

• Knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda)
• Exposure/Certification to any cloud data platform such as Azure data factory, SSIS, Databricks or Snowflake
• Knowledge of a visualisation tool such as PowerBI or Tableau
• Demonstrated work in AI

Expected Aptitude:

• Write modular code. Demonstrate perseverance in debugging a code
• Eye for detail and good listening skills
• Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced work environment and be open to changes in assignments, as needed by the business
• Ship fast. Obsession with writing bug free, maintainable code
