THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and systems, ensuring seamless data flow and processing. If you have strong technical expertise and a passion for optimising data infrastructure, we’d love to have you on our team.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for real-time and batch data processing.
- Implement data solutions and models to support business requirements.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to ensure data is structured for analysis and reporting.
- Optimize existing data systems and frameworks for improved performance.
- Participate in data architecture and database design discussions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and governance standards are met.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in data pipelines
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years in Data Engineering or a related field.- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and other programming languages.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and database management.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data integration, and data governance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
