Primary Purpose

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing ETL solutions, maintaining data integrity, data quality and development of API integrations using services from the IICS platform. This position will also develop and manage integrations with Salesforce, CRM Dynamics 365 and cloud storages like Snowflake/Azure Data Lake etc. Should be able to independently handle SDLC with team including administration/support and monitor the performance. The ideal candidate will also have proven experience in building and testing applications end to end, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services. (IICS).
• 5+ years experience using ETL tools mainly Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, Talend etc
• 5+ years of experience working with SQL queries.

• Good knowledge and experience in Cloud Data Warehouse- Snowflake

• In depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
• 4+ years’ experience with design, build, test, and maintain data integrations for data marts and data warehouses.
• 2 years experience with Azure Cloud platform and services.
• Basic knowledge and usage of Azure Service Bus and integration with IICS
• Good experience with minimum one of the BI tools like Tableau.
• Very strong experience leading all phases of SDLC, performance tuning, designing, and building the ETL’s, ability to lead team and provide support as needed during critical timelines and a proven track record of managing multiple tasks independently.
• Actively participate and influence in agile planning, backlog refinement and implement to Agile methodology, process, and standards
• Strong record of writing technical specification documentations and STTM’s for ETL’s. Document and deliver vital artifacts.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a pressure environment and react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
• Proven abilities to take initiative and pro-actively complete the project tasks.
• Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Believer in the Teamwork and coordinate with both onshore and offshore development teams

Preferred skills:

• Exposure to On-prem CRM Dynamics 365 & Salesforce Systems and CRM integration with IICS will be a bonus.
