About the Data Engineer Role

The backbone of Overstand is data integration and processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using PySpark
• Optimize existing data workflows for improved performance and reliability
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to implement data models and processing solutions
• Ensure data quality and implement monitoring systems
• Write unit tests and documentation for data pipelines

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering
• Strong Python programming skills
• Extensive experience with PySpark and Spark SQL
• Proficiency in building and optimizing ETL processes
• Experience with distributed computing concepts
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)

The position will be in-person in Pune, India.
