Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, providing guidance, support, and career development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in data engineering, ensuring high standards for data quality, security, and compliance.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient data pipelines to process large volumes of data from various sources.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to transform raw data into structured, highquality data sets.
• Optimize data infrastructure and architecture to support advanced analytics and machine learning models.
• Ensure data integrity and availability by implementing robust monitoring and alerting systems.
• Define the data engineering roadmap and strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance data capabilities.
• Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Desired Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL,PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift,BigQuery).
