Job Description: Data Engineer
Quest Global, a leading global technology and engineering services company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring its efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Work Experience
Responsibilities:
- Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions.
- Developing and implementing data models, database schemas, and data storage solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design optimal solutions.
- Ensuring data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
- Optimizing data infrastructure performance and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Implementing security measures to protect data privacy and confidentiality.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering and AWS.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in AWS services, including but not limited to Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift, and AWS Glue.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
