Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design, develop, and implement scalable and robust data solutions. The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of experience in data architecture, database design, and data governance, with expertise in modern data technologies and cloud platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, big data platforms, and analytics solutions to support enterprise-wide data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end data architecture solutions to meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) for structured and unstructured data.
• Establish data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to define data strategies and roadmaps.
• Lead the development of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Hands on experience on implementing CDC processes, batch processes and writing custom scripts to read data.
• Optimize and manage large-scale databases and data warehouses.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), big data frameworks, and AI-driven analytics.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.).
• Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 10-12 years in data architecture, database management, or data engineering.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably AWS.
• Proficiency in big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
• Expertise in data modeling and ETL development.
• Strong programming and scripting skills (Python and SQL).
• Knowledge of data visualization and analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, Apache Superset or Amazon QuickSight).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex data structures.

Good to have qualifications:

• Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, etc.).
• Experience with AI/ML and data science initiatives.
• Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD for data solutions.
• Prior experience working in an Agile development environment.
