Job Title: Data Analyst Intern

Location: Mohali, Sector 74

Duration: Internship Duration, e.g., 2 months

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the data analysis team in gathering, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources.
• Perform data entry and basic data manipulation tasks in Excel.
• Use Excel to create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to summarize key insights.
• Analyze trends, patterns, and outliers in data and prepare actionable reports for management.
• Support in building data models, forecasts, and projections using Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and assist in preparing data for presentations and meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and provide relevant insights.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by conducting regular checks and validation processes.
• Learn and apply best practices for data management and data visualization.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, including but not limited to functions like SUMIF, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Data Visualization Tools (Charts, Graphs, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning new tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with SQL or any other programming language (a plus, but not required).
• Previous internship or project experience in data analysis (preferred but not required).
