1. Job Purpose
Develop and maintain standardized reports, dashboards and portals utilizing the business intelligence platform’s software developer tools

2. Core Responsibilities

• Defined, designed, and developed interactive dashboards and other automated reporting in Power BI
• Develop and maintain standardized reports, dashboards and portals utilizing the business intelligence platform’s software developer tools
• Data preprocessing
• Data transformation
• Participates in the design and maintenance of the Database Management System (DBMS)
• including data modelling, extraction, cleansing, aggregation, transformation and validating the data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Analyse complex business problems to execute the vision and strategy of the Compliance
• organization with the overarching goal to reduce operational risk across the enterprise.
• Consistently complete tasks within agreed upon target dates
• Pro-Active and resourceful with the ability to work independently and problem solve

3. Experience Requirements

• Data Analyst with 2+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying interactive data visualizations and reports.
• Ability to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
• Skilled in data modelling, DAX calculations, and creating user-friendly dashboards to empower business stakeholders.
• Experience in building data models in power BI desktop to integrate data from sources such as SQL server databases, spreadsheets, and APIs.
• Experience in data transformation and manipulation techniques.

5. Skill and Competency Requirements

• Attention to detail and ability to learn and adapt quickly is essential.
• Intermediate level skills in respect of verbal & written communication are essential.
• Intermediate level skills in respect of the ability to self-manage are essential.

6. Required Qualifications/Certifications

• Degree (or equivalent) qualifications are desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field is desirable.
