Overview
This role is for Weekday's client.
We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in SQL, Python, and AWS Athena to extract, analyze, and interpret data for business insights. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement of data processes.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract and analyze data from AWS Athena using SQL/Hive queries and Python.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data processing.
- Perform statistical analysis to derive actionable insights.
- Maintain documentation of data models, processes, and workflows.
- Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and improve existing processes.
- Strong SQL skills (window functions, joins, case statements, etc.).
- Proficient in Python (Pandas, Numpy) for data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Athena or similar cloud technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience in the lending sector (preferred).
